Som organisation har Svenska Bibelsällskapet krav på sig att, enligt GDPR, se till att personuppgifter hanteras på ett säkert sätt. Vi måste även se till att hålla personuppgifter uppdaterade. Då personer flyttar, byter namn, med mera så är personnumret det säkraste sättet att säkerställa detta på.
Detta blir inte minst aktuellt om en person hör av sig och vill bli borttagen ur registret eller få ut alla uppgifter som vi har. Har vi inte personnummer på personen är det för det första en risk att vi inte hittar allt vi ska lämna ut och för det andra mer tidskrävande för administratören.
Detta gör dock att det ställs höga krav på säkerhetsnivån på vårt register. Anmälan till våra kurser och konferenser går direkt in i systemet som endast anställda med vissa arbetsuppgifter har tillgång till.
